Home groups

Just as the new believers in the book of Acts met together in their homes, and in the temple courts, Christ the Light, in addition to our Sunday church service, meet in homes during the week for fellowship, food, and gathering around the bible. We look to these times as key in the establishment of meaningful relationships amongst all who participate in the life of Christ the Light.

Our home groups meet on Thursday evenings in homes in and around York at 19:30 each week. For more details please contact the church office.

Y4C Youth Group

Young Adults between the ages of 11 and 17 meet every Tuesday at 19:00 at our youth centre. This is a great time to learn more about God & the Bible in a chilled out & fun atmosphere. Contact the church office for more details.

Alpha

Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting over ten thought-provoking weekly sessions, with a day or weekend away.

Over 2 million people in the U.K. and 10 million worldwide have now attended an Alpha course, an opportunity to explore the meaning of life, running in tens of thousands of churches of all denominations across the world.
